Hi. I have a *small* problem with this whole situation. Um haven’t Willow, Tara and Dawn been living in the house since Buffy’s death? And even though Willow and Tara are at University, couldn’t they have picked up a part-time job to help pay for this? ESPECIALLY since they weren’t sure that they’d a)be able to or b)actually bring Buffy back? And had it not worked they would have needed to get jobs to pay for the house and doesn’t it seem a little cheap to bring her back from the dead and then say “oh by the way, we’re not helping to pay for the house so you and your deadbeat job will have to pay for all four of us to live here kthnxbye”?
They probably did have part-time jobs. But it was probably at minimum wage. Along with a house payment, electricity, gas, water, cable, internet, and food, they probably had to dip into any money Joyce had left Buffy and Dawn with. Living is not cheap, I know. If I didn’t have student loans I wouldn’t have enough each month to get by and I work. There’s no way that Tara and Willow would ever just not bother with helping to pay.
