Day 19: Character You Like that Everyone Else Hates: Dawn
She’s probably one of the most hated characters, at least from what I’ve seen on here. I didn’t think she was that annoying. I understood a lot of why she did what she did, and that she had a lot of deeper aspects that instead of looking at, people just put it off as teenage angst. She also has and amazing bond with Tara that I loved so much and wish we could’ve seen more of.

Day 18: Character Who Didn’t Get Enough Screen Time: Tara Maclay
Well of course Tara didn’t get enough screen time! I felt like we never learned enough about her. I mean, what was her major, did she have a job, did she hang out with anyone that wasn’t a scooby? We know next to nothing about her past, just that her mom died when she was 17 and she was raised to believe she was part demon. In the first 30 episodes she’s in, she’s only got about 2 hours, 40 minutes and 9 seconds of screen time. This is one of the reasons why I read Tara/Willow fanfiction.
Oh and sorry I keep reposting gifs. I only have so many and since I’m so jam packed with stuff this semester, which includes learning all the OMWF songs on the piano for the performance. Unfortunately screencapping and gif making goes on the back-burner.

Day 4: Favourite Female Character
Lol. This just makes me giggle. I hope you ALL know this by now, considering my ENTIRE blog is based on her. Tara is amazing. She feels like such an outsider to the group and eventually is told that she is a part of the family. I love how kind she is, caring, I love how much of a beautiful person she is on the inside. I love how you see her mistakes and that she’s not perfect. And her devotion and love for Willow astounds me, the way she looks at Willow. How she becomes the moral center of the group, and how she is the one the Scoobies go to for comfort because they know she’s not going to judge them.
Now the problem is choosing from the hundreds of gifs of her I have. Oh but…if anyone wanted to know my 2nd favourite female character, it’s Anya and 3rd is Faith.
30 Days of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Day 1: Favourite Season: Season 5
Season 5 may not contain my favourite episode or quote, but I love it the best as a whole. Tara and Willow are a stable couple, they share their first on-screen kiss, and Buffy proclaims that Tara is part of their family. Season 5 isn’t as depressing as season 6, and it has more Tara than season 4. It’s not a ‘everyone will die’ kind of season and is so much more light-hearted. I also am not a fan of Riley, so I was glad to finally see him go. It also contains Anya’s freak out in The Body, which is my second favourite part of the series, and it hit me the hardest as it hadn’t been spoiled for me, like all of Tara’s parts. Spike really showed his loyalty to Buffy in ‘Intervention’ when he doesn’t tell Glory who the key is and the end scene with him and Buffy is AMAZING! I also liked to shake my head at the terrible cheesy lines Glory had. And of course, the ending. When Buffy sacrifices herself in order to save the world.
Oh and Anya is my 2nd fav character, that’s why there are so many gifs of her. I couldn’t help myself as I never get to post any gifs of her.

Take-Charge-Tara is awesome. I love how protective over Dawn she gets. Also makes me want to see how they interacted between The Gift and Bargaining.
I love Tara’s awkward-ness at this point.
Giles: No no no no no, wait, we don’t know what you’re walking into. Uh, we have no idea what his motive is for building this thing.
Tara: Um…don’t you think she’s just…
Tara: Oh, do you have any books on robots?
Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There’s an enormous amount of research we should do before- no, I’m lying. I haven’t got squat. I just like to see Xander squirm.
Giles: And you’re certain she was a robot?
Buffy: Absolutely.
Tara: She practically had ‘Genuine Molded Plastic’ stamped on her ass.
*Giles and Willow give Tara looks*
Tara: Just…tryin’ a little spicy talk.
One of the best Tara lines. I absolutely love this part and I was incredibly excited to finally make a gif of it. Yes, Buffy is half of my life and I am not ashamed to admit it.
*giggles* I had to post this.
Buffy: Okay. We’ll track down Warren tomorrow. Tonight I better go rescue Giles. He’s been watching Dawn while my mom’s out on her date, adn i have a feeling there’s only so much he can take.
Tara: Oh, Giles and Dawie? I bet they ended up having a blast.
Giles: Dear god, Buffy, there’s only so much I can take. We’re going to have to change the system. A fourteen-year-old’s too old to be babysat, and it’s not fair on her.
Buffy: What’d she make you do?
Giles: Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance…then we ate cookie dough and talked about boys.
